Ok, and your telling me that the Wii owner is a typical Gamer? Or would you say that a Wii owner is even more so a casual gamer and would be far less inclined to come to a site like this one?

I also fail to see where Im miss informed or random. If you want Grand Theft Auto IV, or a Grand Theft Auto game, you buy the system that is targeted to the demographic that purchases those games, not the system whos demographic is fun wholesome family entertainment.

Sounds more like lazy posting.

Any console that is priced at above $200 or has been on the market for less than (about) 18 months is selling primarily to the core early adopting gamer ... Certainly, the Wii has probably sold to a more 'casual' or 'family friendly' userbase than any system since the NES but this doesn't mean that publishers should ignore it as a 'core' gamer console.

Personally, I would argue that Take-Two's biggest mistake is that they're trying to attract a market Nintendo is trying to create which puts them in direct competition with Nintendo; not a particularly good place to be. If they focused on producing games in a market space where Nintendo wasn't focused on (say a sandbox game involving 'Mature' content) there sales would probably be much better ...

Essentially, Take Two is focused on a Red-Ocean marketplace and are (unfortunately) not the toughest shark in the ocean
