I also fail to see where Im miss informed or random. If you want Grand Theft Auto IV, or a Grand Theft Auto game, you buy the system that is targeted to the demographic that purchases those games, not the system whos demographic is fun wholesome family entertainment.

The Wii has more "average users" per console. Or atleast did according to the last data we got around the time the financial reports were released. For most consoles currently owned while Billy's mom is playing the system, 15 year old Billy is playing it too. If you think her playing the system is going to suddenly make Billy's mom not buy Billy games he wants. I'd say you're fooling yourself. Also, i'd say... look at the RE games. Mature games rated well sell well. A GTA would be a mature game that would I'd assume be rated well. Currently i'd say there are more "Typical gamers" that own a Wii then a PS3.
