they produce 1.8 million per month, but they will not get all of Decembers 1.8m shipped into stores.
so December should be more like 1.6 mil + 1 mil = 2.6 mil.
although Nintendo were at 1.5m production for 2-3 months before August, yet they still didn't sell all those, so maybe more were stockpiled.
