This is bad. Shooters are slowing taking over, I fear we will get to a point where every developer feels they need to be a shooter in some way to be successful. I really feel Itagki has beant to this will of the shooter craze...but like i said i may be overeacting but it does bother me.
and yes the characters lacked there "Itagkiness" seemed slightly generic
And RoF is not shooter, its a SRPG

yeah those are the games that sell these days. The lack of good western rpgs is killing me. What have we had this gen? Oblivion and Dragon age?
|
I'm really enjoying the Witcher at the moment. It may be a bit older, but it counts as this gen, and the Witcher 2 looks awesome.

i dont' have a working GPU at the moment, so i was refering to console games. The console version fell through and they haven't announced if the second is coming to consoles. Like others im getting pretty tried of the shooters.

Just oblivion for me
No WRPG has been able to ignite the pure magic it created for me. Fallout 3 was dull/boring, Dragon Age I thought was ok.
We need a Elder Scrolls V, its as simple as that.
|
I didn't like fallout3 either. I mean, I could play it if I was bored, but I never could get into it. As for another elder scrolls, PLEASE or at least a large expansion to oblivion like mournhold was to morrowind.
|
YEah same here, I can play fallout if I'm bored, but within an hour I get even more bored arghh!
For the new Elder Scrolls I'm HOPING Bethesda doesn't listen to the vocal oblivion haters that are all over the net, because if they do they will make Elder Scrolls V boring!
BAsically Oblivion formula is perfect, I'd like more guilds, bigger world, sharper graphics, more modes of transport and a better story. THATS ALL they need to do.
