You just leave it on cr00mz. It locks in to your wiimote and the thing works just like normal unless your playing a M game. Though it might feel a bit awkward holding the wiimote sidways for NSMBWii with it on the side.

ok nice to know, and yeah i'm sure it would feel abit awkward. Which is a shame really. I dont think i've ever had this many useless yet "vital" peripherals. I mean first you have the GC controller for the GC games, then you have the nunchuck for when you want to play Wii games, and finally the classic controller for the VC games. and now the WM ...grrrr makes me angry, oh well not much you can do.

It really is amazing, how the ps3 and xbox only have to deal with one controller for backwards compatabile games and those games download to your machine, all work with just one controller.

Well, the WM add-on is a technological upgrade, which was not possible (cost-effectively) when the console was released.

In many instances, the Classic Controller and the GC controller are interchangeable. Also, the thought is that (for most people), if you have GC games, you have GC controllers.  I will admit that some people may now be trying out GC games since they bought a Wii, but that is a small number.

As for the other systems, there are a variety of optional sticks (remember the XBLA joystick) and the like. And now they are introducing separate motion controllers -- while the Wii has it in its standard controller set-up.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
