While i didn't get very far what I played of SMG doesn't make me wanna grab a Wii and SMG2. Ratings don't generally influence my console purchase. it's more like specific titles from specific companies. Plus with many Wii games probably coming to PS3 because of Move I have even less reason to.
Nintendo's first party that I have enjoyed this generation is mostly just brawl. While Brawl is amazing it's not enough for me to purchase a console. VC doesn't interest me that much as I have played to death most of those classics.
Third party support hasn't quite been awesome enough for me. DS has better and more 3rd party support than Wii. If I had to buy a Nintendo console that would be it. Especially if they go on fire sale after 3DS is out.
