I was going to buy a black Wii but I really don't like the fact that Nintendo seems intent on shoving Wii series games down people's throat whether they want them or not imo. I would have bought it with one of the Sports games and one of the Marios (preferably Galaxy One) for $199.
However, now that it looks like Sony might be bringing out a version of PS3 for $199, I really don't think I would buy a Wii at its current price at all.
I would buy a 360 (well if the 360 had ever recovered from its slump game quality wise that I think it's been in since 2008 in comparison to the PS3) and a Wii if I was going to go that route. But I think that if you buy a PS3, then you really only need one console whereas if I had a Wii or 360, then I would need the other one as well.
With MS seemingly wanting to emphasize Motion type games for the rest of the gen and that being the Wii's focus as well, then I think that the PS3 having a motion option if I wanted to try that type of gaming out combined with hopefully more Japanese story driven single player games in the future especially in comparison to the number that I feel will likely show up on 360 -- my favorite type of games, then I find the PS3 to be becoming definitely the best option for my tastes in gaming (especially if the price drop is a reality).
