Take-Two thinks GTA on Wii is laughable

They'll do just fine, sure, but this sort of continued disregard CAN have an effect. 

Just look at the support for the PS3 thus far: there are 14 third party games with a score of 83 or above on the PS3, instead of 3 (for the Wii). Only 1 of 14 has surpassed a million copies, and development cost is much, much higher. 

And yet, there isn't a word yet to suggest that developers are even seriously considering putting their major franchises on the Wii. If it really becomes a situation where it's

Sony, Microsoft, and every third party AAA game 

vs.

Nintendo and shovelware

I'm not sure Nintendo can really sustain the sales that they'd be capable of if they actually saw some major third party support. They may win, but it won't be the landslide it coud be if Nintendo got the third party support that Microsoft or Sony got. Heck, even CLOSE to the same level of support.
