Indeed, I think Playstation (if not Sony) has grown alot this Gen in terms of their approach, they are learning that because they don't have the capital that Microsoft do, they have to make use of their considerable assets such as Sony Pictures, Sony BMG etc, we are beginning to see this in regards to their other hardware branches but more need to be done.
They have also realised that their brand isn't as formidable as they thought and as a result I don't think we will see a repeat of E3 2007.
Next Gen will be interesting for Sony, I just hope to God they don't try to emulate the Wii, one of the great successes of the PS3 was it's technological edge, Sony need to keep pushing the idea of high quality and value for money over cheap and cheerful!
