The Wii has not seen a Mario Golf and only a NPC re-release of GC Mario Tennis.
There has only been one Mario Party (compared to three for the N64 and four for the GC).
And my guess is that Sluggers will not return next generation. And possibly not Strikers.
In other words, Mario is returning to Mario games and highly successful spin-offs -- 2D platform, 3D platform, Kart and Smash Bros.
