Another good point is the power consuption and heat of the system. Many manufacturer tried some power house handels but fails for that point, portable game device needs to be... Portable! It's useless if the battery life is so small that you have to play connected to a plug (looking at you Lynx, Game gear and PSP). To power full means also more heat, if the device start to become hot, how to hold it? Try to play demanding 3Dgames on a laptop with your laptop on your knees and you will understand what it mean.
