No More Heroes is easily my favorite franchise of all time. The characters, story, graphics, humor, gameplay, everything.
I'd even go so far as to say that No More Heroes 2 is the best looking game of all time, at least from an art-style perspective.
I loved both games. I preferred the first, but not by much. The second was a lot better gameplay-wise, but the story and writing seemed slightly worse. Also, I missed the free-roam from the first, even if it was considered by many to be the worst part of the game.
