If it's a game I want to play the moments it's released, I buy it new. If the price is low and not much cheaper used, I buy it new. But mostly I buy my games used. Why? Because it's cheaper. And I don't mean Gamestop-cheaper. 10€ off the price of a brand new game isn't very much. No, I'd rather spend that little to support the dev and be sure I'll get a copy that's in excellent condition. Anyway, when I buy my games used, it's usually an online auction (like eBay) or from an online store that lets the user decide the price (Amazon, Play.com for example). That way I don't get ripped off. Also, I've never had a bad experience with all those online sellers.
