So you'd agree that since those were the beginning and end of the stories, Vanille spent the good part of 30 hours just screwing around?

Entire events happen because Vanille told lies.
People on other forums are saying "why wasn't vanille the main character".....I thank god for them not making her the main character but its obvious the whole games story mainly revolves around her & fang.
You need to just play Chapter 8 to understand that.
Not to mention the whole reason they failed to destroy cocoon 500 years ago WAS Vanille's fault cus vanille got scared & didn't turn into ragnarok WITH Fang which mean Fang became the weak ragnarok that could only destroy the shell, not the Cocoon planet itself.
