A price cut is the only thing that can save the 360 from 3rd place

Even if that occurs, it would take four (4) such years for the PS3 to finally come out ahead.

In fairness, Gamecube folks had the entire Nintendo64 generation to get used to "defeat," and even then they took second place.  I'd imagine that if the web was active in the mid-90's as it is now, Nintendo fans would be every bit as     zealous     as certain Sony fans currently are.
