I played both, 360 version first and then the Wii version after since everyone was saying "Wii version is better".
You're right that Wii version has less camera issues...but it also attempts to do less. So there really isn't much to go wrong... On the other hand, the 360 version tries for all these crazy camera changes while running super fast in 2D, 2.5D, 3D... It actually blew me away how much of it actually worked well with what they were trying to do...lol.
The levels are actually really similar. I wouldn't be surprised if Sonic team and dimps traded a lot of assets while making Unleashed.
