Keep playing. You have options considerably better than Witch Time as time goes on, and when you play long enough they just take it away from you.

The Katana, but it doesnt matter if there is one more effective or not,  there are more effective combos in God of War III than The Plume of Promethesus,  but that doesnt stop people from being ignorant about it.

Sure there are more effective combos - largely dependent on the weapons you're using and rarely depending on the enemy you're facing even with the same weapon, but they're there. The PoP is just ind of a catch-all combo that can be used to get through the hwole gam except for the parts where you absolutely need something like the Cestus. This isn't true on higher difficulties, but if we're talking about that then you need to reassess everything you know about Bayonetta after beating it on a higher setting.

And yes, it does matter. You lose sight of the point if you express a subpar combo as being "the best".
