That would have some validity if Wii had games at par with popular HD games. I mean if I want to play games like Halo or Mass Effect, Zelda and Mario aren't gonna fill the void.
Lets not reduce everything on HD consoles to merely pretty graphics. Not only do HD games have much nicer visuals but the games often deliver an experience much different then you tend to find on the Wii.
