Sega deserved to have it sell poorly. Poor PS3 port, poor sales... although the sales weren't really bad unless they had huge expectations (not sure, it doesn't look like a high budget game, does it?).

I was really looking forward buying Bayonetta, but unless I get a X360 someday, I won't, because I refuse to pay for the PS3 version as it is. I am quite mad at Sega for this...

They patched the PS3 version to run as well as the 360 version, I hear.

On-topic, I think Bayonetta has done very well for itself. I'm sure SEGA is pleased.

But guys the "Bayonetta vs. Other Action Games" argument should go in its own thread.

Thats not really true,  sure it runs a little smoother than before, and doesnt have the horrible loading.  But the amount of screen tearing and bad textures are horrible compared to the 360 version.  I should have bought that version instead,  damn my love for my trophies

I dont think Sega deserved to have it sell badly, the port wasnt that bad, i felt it was just the loading that was getting on my nerves. i've had PS exclusives Heavy Rain and God of War 3 freeze on me twice, and Bayo hasnt frozen once, and i didnt notice the screen tearing as much as people say.

the game did deserve to sell better though, it so much more fun that the DMC games and leaps and bounds above GOW3 and Dantes Inferno.
