200, nice. That's about how many DVDs I have collecting dust. I buy a lot less now than I used to because of that and my online rental subscription. I went crazy buying a lot of blu-rays with all of the good deals in the beginning of the format war, but now I only buy what I consider to be the must have new movies and re-purchases. Every other blu-ray I rent with blockbuster online.
As far as DD goes I can't get into digital distribution of movies because they lack the 5.1 surround sound tracks. I wonder how long it will take DD to surpass physical media in sales, if ever. I'm all for convenience, but I do prefer having a collection to hold rather than a collection of movies on a hard drive and especially if I have to wait 6-8 hours for them to download.
If streaming quality was as good as blu-ray with 5.1 surround sound and half the price I would probably convert. I think thats what it would take for me to drop physical media. Same goes for games. At least half price if I can't resell them.
