The PS3 has sold approx 3m in Europe while the 360 has sold approx 4.5m. The PS3 has only been out in Europe for 9 months, whereas the 360 has been out for over 2 years (24 months).
I reckon that the PS3 will catch up with the 360 next year as well. Anytime from April through to around August time IMHO.

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
