I crunched the numbers and for Wii to do this, it's percentage of sales from this point on needs to be:
(2.78mil/total sales from now+0.5) x100
So if at the end of 2008, an additional 40 million consoles are sold, the wii would need to have sold about 56% of those (or 22.4 million)
Naturally, the higher the total number of sales the lower percentage of those sales Nintendo needs.
Seems feasible, and probably even plausible by the way things ar elooking right now, but we will have to see if Wii keeps gaining momentum
I am a Gauntlet Adventurer. I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly.
