If it were an actual zelda game it'd proably be much better in the first place. I haven't played it, but from the vids, it seems that most of it's appeal is the retro feel, whereas the controls and gameplay elements, lack the polish that are a trademark of zelda and mario games.
I'm not saying the game is bad, just that there are many key differences with a zelda title. There is a reason why the zelda series albeit seemingly always the same is held to such esteem. 3Ddot didn't try to emulate this, they only tried to emulate the old zeldas, which is actually a smart move, cause they would have probably failed, whereas here they manage to get a pretty good recognition for their work. Remember, the game is a tribute to zelda, not a zelda killer.
(that said, this is a must buy if I ever get a PS3).
