I was in Paris yesterday for a friends wedding and while there thought i would check out the shops. In all the electronic shops i went to there were loads of PS3's in stock, in fact i would say there were more PS3's on the shelves then Wii and 360 combined. Now as others have mentioned that means nothing as the area that is having problems is US. But it shows there are PS3's out there and that Sony has at least got a lot of stock to Europe. If the demand is as high as some on here say in US why has the stock been allowed to get so low? A lot of people are talking the talk but yet nobody has put up a picture of these supposed shortages. We live in the digital age, we carry a camera with us wherever we go. If people could put some pictures up showing the shelves bare then maybe some would take it more seriously. But thus far we have none up. |
Wow, so someone has to go take pictures of probably as many retailers as possible in order to get their point across, just to get beaten down by the "anecdotal evidence"-card?
You on the other hand started this thread to bury the statement that PS3 is having supply problems. You posted a picture and stated that it contradicts that statement (I'm not even pulling the anecdotal-card here). That's not evidence though. You made the claim it isn't, then you back it up. Going "here's a picture of a store that has PS3's" and then thinking you've cleared the hurdle while others should then counter with another picture of a store not carrying PS3's... have fun.
