But with RE4, Capcom simply took a Game of the Year and then polished and configured it for the Wii. "Slightly" different than developing a year's best title from the ground up, especially considering the truncated developmental time lines many third party developers have been taking with the Wii.
It's all because most third party companies didn't want to develop for the platform until it became obvious that Joe Public was buying it faster than the competition.
If only more third party companies would produce titles that played as sharp as RE4, I might actually buy more games for the system. Support good games by passing on the chaff.
