Rage will truly be an awesome game. Yes it's made by id software. But sadly it won't come out until 2011, which is confirmed.

Yea, it would be crazy for Bethesda to publish both Brink and Rage in the same period. They are also publishing Fallout: New Vegas an FPS RPG, and a game many have leveled criticism at Rage for imitating a little.
