We're just going to have to continue to disagree on this one. There is no way you're going to convince me that there is no other reason for PS3's sustained rise in sales YOY other than price cuts, just like I will never convince you of the opposite. My main reason for believing it is much more than the price cut is not only the continued YOY sales, but also previous examples of failed consoles. They went through tons of price cuts, but ultimately failed due to there not being enough to hook in customers. If the PS3 had nothing to back it up except price cuts, then it would have been gone a long time ago. Especially, with the equally priced 360, which shares 85-90% of the games on it.
On a positive note, though, thanks for giving credit when it is due.
