Hey guys, I got a question for my fellas Nintendo fans, I went to my local gamestop the other day and one of the clerks tried to sell me Red Dead Redemption, he made it sound like this game is amazing and I told him that I will eventually buy it but once it's available "pre-owned", he asked me why? so I told him that ever since the end of Nintendo 64 era I made a decision which I thought was an act of loyalty. I only buy "new" games for Nintendo systems making sure my hard earned money (or my parent's back then) goes to Nintendo and the developers, Now I still like some games in other systems but I only buy those copies "pre-owned" which as you know the main benefitiary in that, will be the Retailer (Gamestop specially) he looked at me as if I just confessed to JFK murder, and said that it was a little hypocrite since I was still playing other games in other systems. anyway, This is my decision and Its something that I have been doing since I was 10, I still hold Final fantasy 6 and a Link to the past my favorite games of all time and I was 6-7when I played those. so dang it Nintendo was part of my childhood so I'll be with them til lwhenever. so call me a "Fanboy" if you like, It's my money.

Many people only buy preowned and no one thinks they are hypocrites. The only hypocrisy in there is that the clerk think there is a problem with you buying preowned-only on some consoles when the clerk is the person that enables you to do that with his preowned store in the first place.

Hey if you had presented this as "I buy all my games preowned... but I buy my nintendo games new", no one would have had a thing to say to your logic. But there you used the terms nintendo fanboy, so some people feel you are evil all of a sudden.

Continue at it, as long as used stores are legal, then there is no reason not to benefit from them.
