How much did SE ship to Japan anyway? Had they shipped way more than they could sell and had to massively reduce the price to sell them all. That would be a flop. Considering that it sold what they shipped I'm pretty sure it did what SE was expecting.
It's one thing to say it sold less than previous ones. Yes it has. One also needs to consider that those had years to sell, most the sales are earlier but it is by no means all of them.
