I diagree... heres why The 360 has had a slow start to the year software wise and yet it is only down around 3% YOY YTD... Thats a good performance imo. And of course its worse than PS3... what did you expect? Its sales at this point last year were the lowest so its bound to be up. Come August that flips... The PS3 at 126k is a lot lower than quite a few here thought would be the minimum weekly sales level this year.

Let me start admitting a thing. I don't know whether I ever wrote it, but during Q4 2009 I often thought PS3 wouldn't have dropped under 150k during 2010, although I'm never 100% sure about anything, nor I totally wazs even back then.
This said, here you're trying to mix a truth with a thing less true to make the latter pass: it's totally true that going up YoY from a previous meh sales performance isn't difficult, but it's just the norm when you finally do things right. But it's also true that last years's XB360 performance in this period was by no means stellar, so it was expected too to rise, considering the big SW releases it had this week. So judging from this week shouldn't bode well for XB360 next Autumn. Why I'm not pessimistic anyway, then? Because XB360 is expected to have some more or less big and significant renewal and this should remove at least some reasons for the current sluggish performances. But getting good omens from this very week, really no, I can't do it.
