Mario Sales Bet/Prediction Thread: SMG v SMG2 and SMG2 v NSMBWii

1.  Which will sell more in its first 12 months, SMG or SMG2?

- The original Super Mario Galaxy sold 6.76 in its first year.

 

2.  Which will sell more in the next 12 months, NSMB Wii or Galaxy 2? (May/June 2010 - May/June 2011)

- For comparison

Week 27        NSMB Wii = 14.51M               Wii Fit = ~9M               Mario Kart Wii = 8.35M             NSMB DS = 6.48          Mario Kart DS = 4.14M

Week 79        NSMB Wii = ?                         Wii Fit = ~22M             Mario Kart Wii = 17.74M           NSMB DS = 11.26        Mario Kart DS = 7.05M

 

I've already bet with Joelcool7 and I think NSMB Wii will sell more in the next 12 months, Joelcool7 thinks Galaxy 2 will. We haven't had a bet on SMG v SMG2. I think I'd give it to the original SMG if I had to bet/predict.
