I could join the army at 16 but can't play COD until 18?

The idea isn't to die for your country, you serve for your country. You get financally compensated for your service as well. Also, no one is forcing you in the army.

You are missing the whole point of the statement. The fact is, 18 year olds go to war and many die for their country, but none of them can even have a drink. It doesn't matter if they pay you, money is no good if you are dead. They care if you drink, but it is ok to let people die from going to war at such a young age?

Drinking is not essential and many young people have proven to be irresponsible. Hence, why they decided to make it 21.

An army is very essential to our country and many people tend to go right after high school.

So whats the solution? Allow 18 years olds to drink and have more durnken idiots in public? Or make the minimum age to go to war 21 just to keep people like you quiet?

Ultimately the army is very important to us and career for many. Drinking is bullshit and benefits nobody.
