It occurs to me because of the huge development costs for games on the PS3 and Xbox 360, developers need Nintendo systms to be able to develop less costly and more profitable titles.

Actually EA makes much more money on PSP (£258 million) than on DS (£104 million).

 And if you read a little further, DS sales are up 145% while PSP sales are down 28%.
