NO MGS4's ONE IS

As soon as it starts it SETS the sombre & sad mood, you see your favorite gaming character snake, old, decaying, you know he is at deaths hands or close to it. The sad music in the background only adds to this emotional impact.

Then the words war has changed with the singing in the background makes you feel how screwed up the world has become, while listening to snakes more husky than usual voice, once again making you realize that he has become old, & might not be living by the end of the game!

Towards the end of the intro the violin music reaches a kind of crescendo while you see people shooting & dying....it makes you think, is this fighting worth it?

You see snake get out of the truck

And so the best game of all time begins!

MGS2 takes a 2nd

Now if we'r talking endings MGS3 has it in the bag.

the final boss fight in 4 was nostalgic in many ways

It was GENIUS!!!!

Especially when the music changed at points & so on. It just brought all your memories back & is definetely the best final boss battle in a MGS game, ofcourse it doesn't have he same emotional impact that |shooting the boss| had in MGS3's boss battles end, where you need to actually pull the trigger.

got to agree, this is one of the best MGS boss fights to date, it was walking down memory lane nicely done here

obviously nothing will really ever beat the sheer shock & amazement at how you beat psycho mantis in MGS1 or the scene after the sniper wolf battle but this is definetely the best final boss battle in MGS hands down, but there are people who thought MGS3's final battle was better.
