• Only talking about online stuff. I have heard nothing about Wal-Mart, Target or Best Buy stores having sell outs. They are much bigger retailers than Gamestop. Again, heard very little about people calling in for PS3s or long lines for PS3s. Supply could just be low.

• Many people have posted how PS3s have been out at their local wal-mart, target's and best buy's.  Ultimately, its all incidental as one store doesn't mean a thing.  You can check on best buy's website for stock on stores near you (or anywhere).  The 5 Best Buy's in the Omaha area have been out for months.  I know it's incidental though.
• On point 2, I completely agree.  In fact, I think its a bad thing no matter what.  They are losing sales.  In fact, my first post in this thread said this was a complete fail on Sony's part.  It's obvious their supply is down to almost nothing in the americas.  I blame this way more on a supply issue than demand.  Still, it would be unwise to say that they haven't missed out on sales - it's obvious they have.
