PSP is unable to have a non Monster Hunter million seller game, the next on the list of candidates is Final Fantasy Agito XIII. |
Agito's likely the platform's last chance. If being a FFXIII game *and* a MoHun-clone can't do it, then nothing will.

bt wnt psp2 be out thn? so who will care about it?

I doubt anyone "cares" anymore, but us sales aficionados. Still, we've had quite a few cases of near (and not so near) misses in recent years for games that were expected to hit a million by one source or another...
- Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (Square Enix)
- Dissidia: Final Fantasy (Square Enix)
- Gran Turismo: The Real Driving Simulator (SCE)
- Phantasy Star Portable 2 (Sega)
- Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep (Square Enix)
- God Eater (Namco)
- Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (Konami)
...upcoming/remaining candidates...
- Danboard Senki (Level-5)
- Agito Final Fantasy XIII (Square Enix)

Dissidia was very close call though. Latest S-E fiscal year report showed that they had shipped 0.99 million copies in Japan. Maybe with some kind of ultimate cheaper edition they ship that remaining 10k =D

Do they include digital sales in that number ? If not total might be above 1M.

The only one close enough would be Dissidia, and it wasn't on PSN until UT released late last year iirc, so it's probably lucky if it's even gotten into 5 figures yet. PSN sales in Japan are a bit of a mystery, but Famitsu does post the top 10 (sans numbers) in their PS centric mag. It's usually dominated by PS3 DD games and PS Archives though. The only PSP PSN game we ever got numbers for was Persona, and it sold 10k (which was considered a notable success for PSN releases).
