I chose #2, but I don't know how accurate it is. I hate being a bad guy, and I hate stealing cars in GTA. If I could be friends with all the mutants in Fallout 3, I totally would.
In short, I try to be the honorable guy, and I feel like a dick if I don't. If I'm attacked, I'll hit back, but if I could talk everyone down from attacking, I would.
EDIT: This is only if a game succeeds in making me care though. If Treyarch can justify killing JFK for me, I'll do it. I'll feel bad about it, but if I feel it must be done, then so be it. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices.
