The last two shots are the Deck level from Unreal Tournament. Maybe they're planning an update for that game aswell(UT4 perhaps?). Would be cool.
Definitely more colourfull than the old engine aswell, witch is a big improvement over previous Gears of War games.
To bad we won't see much of the fiolage system in GoW 3 since it's set in a post-apocalypse world. :P
