It sold as expected. It didn't sell well, but it didn't sell badly either.

Pretty much this.  Underperformed a bit in Japan, did a little better than expected in Europe, nice American launch but terrible legs.  Overall it seems to be about what everyone (sane) predicted though.

really i expected more as the games this gen are selling way above their capacity and also the hype and the roar FF13 was meant to cause

 

MW2 wasn't supposed to sell this much even though FPS sell well but it did cause of the hype

Well, I'll admit it's probably on the lower side of expectations... but 5-7m seemed to be what most pegged it at. 

I expected 7m in 2007 and also in 2008 but till it came to in 2009,my expectation went down

 

plus FF13 had big discounts from 3rd week so even that propelled sales.

it will gt to 7 million. its on trck to get 5 million on ps3. xbox 360 cud do close to 2 million.

yeah but it will take time and less money with discount over longer period of time

 

and nobody knows

 

FF14 and FF13V could cut its lifeline

 

also FF FORTRESS project too pending

This is how I see it.  I really don't think it will hit 7 mil.  It's at 5.55 mil shipped now.  With re-releases, and further pricecuts, I think it will make it to 6 mil, maybe 6.5 mil, at max.
