I am secretly hoping that someone out there goes to nintendo and shows them this stuff... If bunch of independant programmers can make Wii games look this good using emulation and anti aliasing, imagine what nintendo could do.

Nintendo may have a trick up their sleve here...these games look so natural in HD that they may have been designed with that in mind. Kinda like how Game boy games had color since the beggining...even when using the green screen.

Wii HD may not be a joke afterall ;)

Uh....no they didn't.

Ever play game boy games on your Snes with the adapter? Ever use game boy color which plays the same games as regular gameboy?

If you did you'd notice that those games had color... Original game boy couldn't display it, but games were designed with color.

We could have a similar situation here...Wii can't do HD but some games may be designed with HD in mind. Metroid prima 3 and Mario Galaxy look as good as most 360 titles.

No. The ones that had color on the SNES were designed with that in mind--they were designed as "Super Gameboy games" or something gimmicky like that.

Games that were playable on original Gameboy but were fully colored on the GBC were released only after the GBC came out. You could recolor original Gameboy games a set color schematic (i.e., red, blue, inverted, etc) on GBC, but they were not in color. \

The great bulk of original Gameboy games were not in color: for example, compare Pokemon Red/Blue on a Gameboy Color to Yellow version. Red/Blue can just have a color scheme applied; Yellow version was actually made to be played in color and reflects this.

Just a minor quibble though. Your Wii HD point is valid and still stands.
