That is incorrect.  It will play over USB in whatever resolution the file is.

Maybe over a computer it will be whatever resolution the video is but on Xbox its 480p.

Because i have a Zune HD and it says on www.zune.com

 

*Zune HD can play high-definition videos in high-definition when used with the Zune HD AV Dock (sold separately) and an HDMI video connection to a compatible HDTV.*

 

Who would buy that over priced it dock for $90 when i can use my 360 to do it for free? MS knows better than that.
