Wait, Sony is going to limit what publishers do with Move? Nintendo setting limits on what publishers could do is exactly why third parties wanted to jump ship to Sony several generations ago. Sounds to me like this could blow up in their face. The thing I would be most worried about if I was Sony would be having enough support for this peripheral.

Well, I'm pretty much sure Sony will get a lot of 3rd party support for the Move on top of 1st party offerings. As well I'm sure none of these will be enough to get thing flying off the shelves at least in long term perspective (fanbase might get it based solely on the hype).

Why?  What is so special about this peripheral?  Even the Wii Balance Board, with nearly a 40% attach rate last I heard, doesn't have what I would call 'a lot of 3rd party support'.
