Even if so, I'd say it has basically no chance of outselling Galaxy 2. You seem to pinning a lot on RDR, what else is there?

What title capable of selling more than 500k are getting released on the Wii in the next 3 months ?
SMG2 and Tiger Woods 11, that's about it...........
PS3 got RDR ( this week), Mod Nation's Racers, Blur, UFC 2010.
And early August , Madden 11 !

Basically I'm calling now that PS3 software will beat Wii software at least 4 weeks before end of August....( it did not win a single week last year over the same period and never did better than 60% of Wii software on any given week...)

Which weeks then? I could see maybe Madden launch (provided we don't also get Metroid that week), but what else?

Does the week include the 23rd? 1st day of US Galaxy 2 sales may keep RDR from taking it for PS3 overall... this should also be the first full week for the WSR Black Wii bundle in the US (and first week it was advertised).

The only territory that ends their week on a Sunday is Japan. No SMG2 sales this week. And as I pointed out above the Move launch, and possibly the GT5 launch if it doesn't release simultaneously with Move. Also don't forget FF13 launches next week, or rather this week, in Asia. Although that would have more of an impact on HW than on SW since they're getting the Lightning bundle over there.

GT5 isn't launching until fall, if this year at all. Move could be a possibility, I could definitely see Sony rushing it out this summer to avoid being trampled by the Natal hype machine in October.
I wouldn't expect much from FFXIII's Asian launch either. PS3 software is going to be slaughtered by Wii for the week.
