Even if so, I'd say it has basically no chance of outselling Galaxy 2. You seem to pinning a lot on RDR, what else is there?

What title capable of selling more than 500k are getting released on the Wii in the next 3 months ?
SMG2 and Tiger Woods 11, that's about it...........
PS3 got RDR ( this week), Mod Nation's Racers, Blur, UFC 2010.
And early August , Madden 11 !

Basically I'm calling now that PS3 software will beat Wii software at least 4 weeks before end of August....( it did not win a single week last year over the same period and never did better than 60% of Wii software on any given week...)

Which weeks then? I could see maybe Madden launch (provided we don't also get Metroid that week), but what else?

Does the week include the 23rd? 1st day of US Galaxy 2 sales may keep RDR from taking it for PS3 overall... this should also be the first full week for the WSR Black Wii bundle in the US (and first week it was advertised).

Last week ended the 15th so I'm guessing this one will end the 22nd and not include SMG2...
RDR needs to do around 350k for PS3 to beat Wii in software and that should not have been a problem based on what information we have so far....

Well, that probably improves PS3's chances for the week then. Still, four times this summer (at least?! implying more?!?) when for the year PS3's only managed to outpace Wii thrice so far (from March 13-27, with the launches of FFXIII, GOW3, Yakuza 4 and Hokuto Musou all coming in quick succession) seems rather ambitious at the least. Especially when PS3's summer lineup pales in comparison to what it had in March alone. It'll happen twice at most for PS3 imo, and that hinges on Nintendo not putting anything up against Madden.
