Wii being down by so much YoY despite the pricecut, and Black Wii launch in America is just... Weird.

What the hell is up with that thing?

As for everything else.

PS3 is doing awesome.
360 is doing respectable.
DS is way, way down. Because of DSi hype last year?
PSP needs that pricecut, and fast.

Yeah I have no idea what the deal is with the black wii.  I have seen plenty on shelves.

360 is doing very good considering the sales from last year were following their price cut of late 2008.

PS3 is doing amazing.  The price cut + slim combo really did them well and has allowed them to gain increased sales for longer than the 360's cut of 2008.

DS, like you said, is from DSi hype/release last year.

PSP is actually doing ok if it weren't for the Americas which for some reason don't want one at all...

but 360 did have a price cut, all consoles did.

360 didn't have a price cut in fall 2009.  The others did.  Last 360 price cut was fall 2008.

its him vs you.

It was an SKU change, not a price drop.  Sorry you don't understand this.  When the price of entry for the 2 main models does not change and all that changes is the HDD is upgraded to stay relevent with what is most cost effective, it isn't a price cut.

for the pro, ELITE had a price cut.

SKU change would be only adding HDD GB, but the whole SKU had a price cut.

Er, the only meaningful difference between the Pro and Elite was the size of their HDDs.  They simply phased out the Pro and brought the Elite down to it's old pricepoint, but basically all that really changed was the brand on the box, the color of the shell and the size of the HDD.

elite had a few extras, hdmi cable, and the color :p elite was cut,

sku change was elimnation the pro.

Not anymore, as of the $299 pricepoint they also dropped HDMI cables (comes with standard AV cables now).  It's literally a black Pro with a bigger HDD (120GB rather than 60GB). ;)

Pro originally came with component cables too btw, but those were also dropped when it hit $299.
