I've said it before and I'll probably say it again; I liked Kevin Butler better when he was kicking field goals for the Chicago Bears.

You don't think he is funny in the ads?

I don't think he's funny. At all. I've said it in other threads about him. He makes Sony look like they are in the lead and that they are owning in sales (while the current sales of the PS3 have been getting higher, they aren't that high compared to Nintendo's). Kevin Butler just makes it seem like Sony is getting too smug about themselves because they think they are on top again with recent sales. Clearly they aren't as VGChartz shows. Plus to me his acting and ads just make him look like a total fool. He's not funny and just tries too hard to be. That's my opinion, though, so I hope I don't get talked to by a mod or admin if that seems like I'm flaming.

Think about this: if Kevin manages to persuade people that Sony is market leader again, he's doing his job damn well. Anyway, although I like those ads, I won't buy a PS3, at least not at the current price.

I know what you mean by that with Kevin Butler's persuasion, though Sony is still in dead last (yet the PS3 is catching up very close to the X360). I mean, if the PS3 only does everything, why not play PS2 games along with PSOne and PS3 games? It kind of defeats the purpose of saying it does everything and not that. I wouldn't buy the PS3 until it's $99 and has the games I want. Plus for now I would want it as it's the best Blu-Ray player on the market (though my laptop has Blu-Ray, it has its limits with its GeForce 9600M GT card; I wish I could upgrade this card to the latest GeForce 480 GTX... ). But yeah, I don't find Kevin Butler funny or anything; he's just being too smug in my opinion.
