Reasons you don't own the other console(s)

I'm on the verge of buying the 360. Are they quieter now? I like the way you can install the game to the HDD so there's no disk dive noise which can be quite loud. Really for Gears Fable and Halo. But I'm not sure I have enough time. Everything's goin multiplat now it seems. Like Bungie :D
