As far as play and charge stuff and controllers - here's what I did. I have 4 wireless controllers and 1 wired controller. Most times, I will just sit in the recliner with the wired controller. I pull out the 4 wireless controllers when my friends are over.
You won't have to wait for your wireless controller to charge if you have a wired one. I have played the most with the wired as I am too doggone cheap to buy a rechargable kit or batteries.
