Actually, I don't feel the same way. The first one looks scary in an attack of the 50 foot spider kind of way*, but this one just doesn't look scary to me -- at least, not from this distance.
Heck, I could see this sucker as a plush doll. Admittedly one that might scar a 5 year old for life if I put it in his bed while he was asleep.
*If you have any small creature phobia, you might want to avoid the imagery.
