The creators went and said two things already.
1. Regarding mysteries being solved, they said if it's not important to the characters within the show then it's not important in general. Try to remember that Lost is a character driven show, it's sci fi in nature, and not everything needs a logical explanation. Some shit is just weird on Lost and we have to deal with it. Trying to logically explain every little stupid thing on Lost is like Metal Gear Solid 4 trying to explain away all the cool weird crap by saying nanobots are responsible. Sometimes the mystery far outweighs the reality they have to shove down your throat. That's how we got the Jacob/MIB origin episode. Important mysteries the characters care about learning(which does not include food drops) will be solved in the season finale.
2. Additional unimportant mysteries will be solved on the Season 6 DVD set in a 20-30 minute bonus feature. They haven't revealed in what manner they'll be explained, but it should tackle quite a few there.
